This is not the usual Thursday Favorite Things.
My friends, I don't exactly know how to write the next line... I'm sure I'm a bit off and probably will mess this up...
My family has suffered a great loss. My beautiful, fun-loving, 58-year-old, Sister has died, suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. My family is still attempting to grasp this truth. I'm, afraid we are doing the best we can and it will take some time to wrap our heads around this. I wouldn't normally write about this here but my sister was so proud of my blog and a regular follower and was so pleased with the way I wrote about my Dad's passing that I believe she would want me to share the news here too.
My heart aches for me, for my poor mother and for my sister's children and grandchildren. My faith brings me comfort but accompanied by a lot of questions and sadness. I'm holding onto the knowledge that she IS at peace and with The Creator and that my Dad was there to welcome her Home. I', sharing a picture of her, only a few weeks ago, and ask for your prayers for her family.

This is my beautiful sister, Diane. Rest in sweet peace, Sissy. We love you! Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." John 11:25-26 |
Oh no Theresa, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Gone way too young. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. You are so kind to host the party under those circumstances and I truly appreciate the lavender feature. xo
ReplyDeleteTeresa,
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry for this terrible for yo and your family....When one dies so suddenly, it is so hard for those who are left behind..My Dad passed away suddenly, without warning but on the other hand, we watched my Mother die a little each day for 8 weeks...In hindsight, I would take my Dad's sudden passing any day over my Mother's prolonged suffering... Prayers for you and your family...

ReplyDeleteTheresa,
ReplyDeleteI am so terribly sorry for the death of your sweet sister. I know my words are not enough for you now, but know that I am praying for you and the family. Please ask Diane to send you a sign: butterflies, rainbows, feathers, birds, coins, her scent, or something that YOU would know was from her. I am praying that you are comforted by the Lord and the others that are in heaven now. God bless you, Tracey
